Dr. Jim Turrell, Senior Minister
Dr. Jim Turrell graduated from California State University Los Angeles in 1968 with a BA in Music and a Teaching Credential. He taught in Los Angeles, Burbank, and San Clemente, California from 1968 to 1985 and worked as a professional musician from 1966 to 1990. Dr. Jim Turrell started his studies of the Science of Mind® in 1972. He completed six years of class work and became a minister and was selected to be the Senior Pastor of the Cape Coral Center for Spiritual Living and served that congregation for three years. He was ordained in 1987 and received his Doctorate in 2003. As Founder and Pastor, Dr. Jim Turrell started the Center for Spiritual Living Newport-Mesa in 1987. A thriving and sacred work, the Center is home to hundreds of members and friends. Dr. Jim has served on the Board of Directors of Religious Science International and has been a featured speaker at their national conferences.
